About usAbout us

3DPrinterPoint is a young business lead by a group highly motivated and enthusiastic people who more and more got convinced of the 3D technique and its possibilities. Now is the time to do the job!

Our focus is on informing, teaching and sharing knowledge. We’re aiming mainly on primary and secondary schools where 3D printing is still applied only occasionally. This is what we’ld like to chance!

Adapting this technology into the classroom can renew, support, and perhaps even improve better understanding of subjects we’re in action to design suitable education. We are looking for co-creative partnerships with schools and offer innovative curricula.

To fit in creativity and technique into new and existing projects children and young adults will feel themselves challenged to be creative, to cooperate and work out ideas into a tangible end result.

There’s so much to discover in the new world which is made accessible by 3D printing. A world that’s developing in a rapid way! Therefore we think it’s important that children already get acquainted with the possibilities at a young age with the bonus features that besides educational it’s fun, challenging and brings real end products!

Children of today will get a world with even more possibilities that we couldn’t even imagine till now. Industries will get in need of employees who’re familiar with these techniques and know how to use them.

We’re well aware of the fact that many schools already experience a high workload. A much heard sound is “we already have to do so much” that probably has an inhibiting effect on making a step towards adapting the possibilities of 3D printing. There’s no time to explore things themselves and the (unjust) believe you should be a technician scares off even more.
Therefore support with both developing this kind of education and implement curricula into the classroom is a important part of 3DPrinterPoints activities.

3DPrinterPoint only cooperate with professional parties and institutions that recognize the educational interest and like to contribute. 3DPrinterPoint takes care of the right translation towards your school and provides excellent guidance. We help you set up projects, the implementation of equipment, but also for supporting in an advisory role.

For us it’s therefore logical to involve other parties in this educational development, by approaching suppliers, businesses and even (local) governments. With their input and ideas it makes us capable in developing projects that match needs from all perspectives!
